A special build where the client came to us with a specific brief — a low-VOC fitout using sustainable and natural materials wherever possible. It's a brief that aligns closely with our own values, so we jumped on board and pushed ourselves to find some new solutions and innovations in the process.

Key features include:

• E0 Rated Birch Ply Cabinetry with Plant-Based Finish: All cabinetry built from E0 rated birch ply — meaning no formaldehyde in the glue laminations — finished with a no-VOC Monocoat plant-based oil finish.
• Marmoleum Flooring on Birch Substrate: Marmoleum flooring laid on a birch substrate, adhered with an E0 rated glue. Marmoleum is a natural product derived from rubber, making it one of the more sustainable flooring options available.
• 3M Low-VOC Spray Glue for Upholstery: All upholstery adhered using 3M low-VOC spray glue — significantly lower in VOC content than standard spray contact adhesives.
• Kiri Lining Boards with Osmo Natural Oil Finish: Kiri lining boards fixed with a no-VOC bonding glue and nails, finished in-house with Osmo natural oil for a clean, low-impact interior surface.
• Duetto MK2 Hot Water System: Duetto MK2 hot water system plumbed to an inside sink and an outside shower for hot water on the road.
• Overhead Cabinets on Häfele Automatic Stays: Overhead cabinetry fitted with Häfele automatic stays for easy, assisted opening — combined with warm white lighting and reading lights throughout.
• Extra Heavy-Duty Drawers: Heavy-duty drawer system built to the same standard as the rest of our fitouts, just with a much cleaner materials spec.
• Vandermoon Rear Door Storage Kit: Vandermoon rear door storage kit making use of the door space for easy-access organisation.
• Built Around Existing Tech Safe Bench Seat: The layout was designed to work around an existing Tech Safe bench seat, keeping the van functional for family travel.
